What skin types are Bareform products suitable for?

Bareform products are formulated to work well across a range of skin types. Because everyone’s skin is different, we recommend reviewing the full ingredient list before use, especially if you have known sensitivities.

Are Bareform products natural or organic?

We don't formulate around labels like “100% natural”. We use a combination of traditional ingredients, botanical oils, and modern cosmetic ingredients based on the role they play in the finished formula.

Several of our botanical ingredients are organic. These are marked with an asterisk (*) in the full ingredient list on each product page.

For us, what matters most is simple: every ingredient should have a purpose.

Are Bareform products fragrance-free?

Our formulas contain small amounts of beneficial essential oils, which give the products a subtle, naturally occurring scent.

We don't add synthetic fragrance or perfume.

Why does Bareform use beef tallow?

We use grass-fed beef tallow in our Tallow + Aloe Daily Cream because of its rich fatty-acid profile and ability to work as an effective emollient, helping soften the skin and support its moisture barrier.

Rather than building the entire formula around tallow, we balance it with aloe vera juice, squalane, jojoba, rosehip, shea butter, humectants, and other functional ingredients to create a moisturizer that feels comfortable on the skin.

Why does the Tallow + Aloe Daily Cream use aloe vera juice instead of just water?

Aloe vera juice serves as the primary water-phase ingredient in our Daily Cream while also bringing its own skin-soothing and hydrating properties to the formula.

It works alongside glycerin, panthenol, and hyaluronic acid to help attract and maintain moisture.

What is bakuchiol?

Bakuchiol is a botanical skincare active used in our Resurface Oil. It is included to support smoother, firmer, more even-looking skin without making the formula feel like a harsh treatment.

We pair it with CoQ10 and a blend of squalane and botanical oils to create an oil that feels nourishing and comfortable enough for regular use.

How to Use

How do I use the Tallow + Aloe Daily Cream?

Apply to clean, slightly damp skin and gently massage until absorbed.

Use morning and/or night as your moisturizer.

How do I use the Resurface Oil?

Apply a few drops to clean, slightly damp skin and gently press or massage into the face and neck.

Use morning and/or night. It can be worn alone or layered with moisturizer.

If I'm using both products, which goes first?

Apply the Tallow + Aloe Daily Cream first, followed by a few drops of the Resurface Oil.

The cream provides hydration and moisture, while the oil can be layered on top as the final step of your Bareform routine.

Can I use Bareform products every day?

Both products are designed for regular use and can be incorporated into a morning or evening routine.

As with any new skincare product, introduce it according to what works best for your skin.

About Bareform

Where are Bareform products made?

Bareform products are produced in small batches in California.

Small-batch production allows us to stay closely involved with each formula as Bareform grows.

Are Bareform products tested on animals?

No. Bareform does not test its products on animals.

Why can my product look or smell slightly different from my last one?

We use botanical oils and other naturally derived ingredients that can have slight variations in color, aroma, and appearance from batch to batch.

Small variations are normal and do not necessarily indicate a difference in product quality.

How should I store my Bareform products?

Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep the lid or dropper securely closed when not in use.
